UCI's Kuali Financial System (KFS)

UCI launched the Kuali Financial System, a comprehensive enterprise financial system used to process most of the campus' financial transactions in July 2014. For help using KFS, the webpages and reference material listed below is a good place to start. Given the complexity of KFS, frequent users should also consider registering for a KFS class on the topic they're interested in.

About KFS

KFS is a comprehensive software solution that integrates most of UCI’s core financial functions, including general ledger, procurement, budget, disbursing, and travel reimbursement.

Create a TEM Profile

If you want to be reimbursed as an employee, you will need to create your TEM (Travel and Event Management) Profile. Follow the instructions on the Creating a TEM Profile page.

Login and Hours

Access KFS from ZotPortal. Look for the Finances/KFS tab after you login.

KFS is up from 7 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Friday. Maintenance begins at 8 p.m.

Off-Campus Access

A VPN connection is required to access the Kuali Financial System when you are off the campus network. Cisco’s AnyConnect VPN allows you to securely connect to UCI’s network.
